 Filming for 'The Waterfront', a new Netflix series, is officially finished!

Inspired by true events, the 8-episode series delves into the troubled Buckley family, led by Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) and Mae Buckley (Maria Bello), as their attempts to maintain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire lead them to increasingly dangerous means to stay afloat.

Melissa Benoist plays Bree Buckley, the smart and temperamental Buckley who once oversaw the fishing finances and, like her father, allowed alcohol to ruin her bright future. After losing custody of her son, Bree struggles to maintain a relationship with him while maintaining her sobriety.
